To reach the pipe report generator tasks, activate the "Reports" panel.
There are 2 pipe reports available. The standard "Pipe Report" lists all the sewer mains within a
certain area, along with the upstream and downstream manhole IDs. The "Pipe Quantity Report" lists summary data about the pipes in an area.
Choose the appropriate task window for the report desired and choose the subdivision and section desired:
Choose "All subdivisions" and "All sections" to see a report of all pipes in the HSE service area.
Choose a specific subdivision and "All sections" to see a report on all pipes in one subdivision.
Choose a specific subdivision and a specific section to see a report on only pipes within that section.
When a section is chosen, the report window
will automatically appear.
Viewing a Pipe Report
The Pipe reports are laid out in similar fashion, as described below.
The Section: area lists the section(s) chosen for the report. Clicking on this area will cause the main map to zoom in to the section(s)
listed. Additionally, that feature will be listed in the Results panel.
The results are sorted by sections within the subdivision. The subdivision code
appears in medium grey and the section underneath it in light grey. In the case
of the screenshot above, the report begins with the group for Subdivision AP,
Section 1. If there's more than 1 section, groupings would be divided by light
grey section bars.
In the case of the standard Pipe Report, where individual pipes are listed along with their upstream and downstream manholes, the manhole IDs will be highlighted
in blue. These are hyperlinks: When clicked, the main map will zoom in to the manhole chosen, and the attributes for the manhole will be displayed in the Results pane.
