Using the HSE Com Tools

The HSE Com Tools permit entry and editing of "communication points": Places on the map where Schneider Corporation or HSE staff should be aware of something.

Placing a HSE Com Point

• Use the Add HSE Com Point button to add a Com point. You do this by clicking on the map in the location desired while the tool is active.
• Be careful that you are zoomed close into the desired area of the map to ensure accuracy!
• The Add HSE Com form will appear once the map has been clicked on. The form looks like this:
  
• In the form provided, add or edit the following information
  • The type of the issue.
  • The initials of the person sending this information.
  • The details of the issue.
  • The severity of the issue.
• NOTE: Do not alter the X or Y values!
• Press Add when finished. The HSE Com Summary page will appear.

Viewing all HSE Com Points

• The HSE Com Summary page is shown after a HSE Communication point is either created or edited. It lists all communications points.
  
• The description of each Com record is a hyperlink that brings up the Update HSE Com page.

Updating a HSE Com Point

• The Update HSE Com page is used to edit HSE Com records.
  
• This page can be reached in one of 2 ways:
  • By clicking on the "Edit HSE Com" link in the Results listing for a Com point.
  • By clicking on the subject of a Com on the HSE Com Summary page.
• Change whatever data you wish and press Update Record to save the data.
